Information about our Museum.
About grandmother’s and great- grandmother’s time in West-Friesland. Dear Sir, Madam. Here sphere and inspiration make a day. In historical North- Holland is a poulder, named the Schermer. Visiting a “stolpfarm” is worth the troubble here. Look at the short explanation of the word ” Stolp.” We specially want to draw your attention to the museum. The receiving-room is suitable for 10 up to 50 persons. Here we start with the explanation of the West-Frisian costume, this is being done by a video-film. The lady, who gives the explanation, is 80 years old, and she speaks with a funny West-Frisian dialect. The length of the video is 25 minutes. The leading about the museum usually takes one hour. There also is an exhibition of dolls, representing the charactaristic people of the village of De Rijp. We hope, we have given you a good thought, it is certainly worth a visit.
Time flies when it is cosy.
